Yayoi started her career as a financial analyst at Morgan Stanley M&A Department and she has lead the large-scale cross-border M&A transactions. Since then, for over 30 years, she has been engaged in corporate acquisitions, business tie-ups, launching new businesses, and commercializing R&D results at a large Telco Group in Japan and other global companies in the United States and Europe.

​She has been responsible for projects in more than 10 countries, totaling more than US$ 3 billion, and currently takes the lead in assisting global corporates and Silicon Valley’s high-tech companies who are entering the Japanese market.

She was designated as a business mentor under ​Cabinet Office sponsored local government business contest to coach the local venture groups. ​She is also a visiting scholar at Kogakuin University’s Faculty of Science and Engineering, she has been engaged in the creation of corporate value from the perspectives of both real business and academic study, with his research theme of measuring and verifying economic effects through social implementation of advanced technologies. ​

She is appointed as a Board Member of NPO Foodbank Yamanashi, which suppots people in need and challenges food loss in the community.
